One of the first documentaries I ever made was on a man called Bob Lazar & a top secret military facility out in the Nevada desert called Area 51. I’m now turning that into a feature film called DREAMLAND.

And what a story it is. Most people have heard of Area 51, but not many know the true facts. In 1989 a 30 year old scientist called Bob Lazar walked into a Las Vegas television station in and claimed that he had worked out in the desert at Area 51, in a underground facility called S4.

He said that he worked as a contractor for the Department of Naval Intelligence, through a defense subsidiary called EG&G, and that his job was to ‘reverse engineer’ the propulsion system of a ‘recovered’ alien spacecraft.

He claims that he received detailed, top secret, briefings on a number of ‘recoveries’ that had been made by the US government of ‘crashed space vehicles’ as well as EBE’s ‘extra-terrestrial biological entities’.

He also claims to have witnessed ‘test flights’ of ‘man-made’ flying craft which were utilizing this ‘alien’ technology. He claimed his life was in danger and that was why he was going public.

But was any of it true? Or just a cleverly created fantasy? From my perspective, I have met Bob several times over the years, and he has never varied or tried to embellish his story to me in any way.

George Knapp, the Las Vegas TV reporter who Lazar broke his story to has spent over 20 years investigating his claims, and after verifying much of his background and talking to other people who claimed to have worked out at Area 51, Knapp believes that most of his story is, in fact, true.

He has no memory of who he is, no money, and only the clothes on his back. He finds protection, solace and friendship with the owners of a local Cafe. When the owner dies, the chef takes over and the old culinary sparks begin to fly. But all is not quite what it seems. A film about redemption, passion and great food.

 

 

Return to Abydos

Scripted feature film

This film dramatizes the remarkable true story of Dorothy Eady, a young girl from wartime London who, ever since a near death experience in her childhood, believed she was the lover of Pharaoh Seti l, in a former life. It was a conviction that led her to live her adult life in Egypt, in the Temple of Abydos, where she was able to assist the archaeologists with their discoveries, given her 'prior knowledge' of the site. Dorothy became a beloved figure in Egypt, teaching the local children english , and escorting the likes of Churchill and President Kennedy around the Temple. She described her bizarre story.

The Scole Experiment

A dramatised documentary film which tells the remarkable true story of Alan & Diana Bennett, and  Robin and Sandra Foy. Two middle aged couples living in Norfolk, UK, who had shared a lifetime’s interest in the paranormal and mediumship. In the mid-nineties, they set out on a major experiment, to try and find hard evidence that there is life after death. The events that took place over five years were so astounding that respected scientists, psychologists and physicists, who had been asked to observe, test and record what took place, all confirmed that some form of ‘paranormal manifestations’ had taken place.

In the field of Ghosts and Paranormal research, nothing like this had ever happened before. Several times jewels and even silver cutlery crashed down onto the table, handwriting, symbols, and messages appeared on unopened, factory sealed photographic film, and on one occasion, a 1940’s copy of the Daily Mirror newspaper fell onto the table with the paper still in its white, un-oxidized state.  It remains the perhaps the most important, and yet almost unknown, work into paranormal contact yet made.

 

 

Can we Time Travel?

Scientist Professor David Pares believes that we can, and he’s embarking on an ambitious experiment to prove it. After nearly two decades of painstaking research, Pares thinks that powerful solar flares can pierce through weakened around of our magnetosphere and ‘supercharge’ high altitude clouds, creating ‘mega electric’ storms which can, in turn, create time and space distortions for aircraft that are caught in them. It sounds the stuff of science fiction, but Pares says he is going to prove it. He is going to rig up a small, light aircraft with the very latest sensors, and repeatedly fly test flights over the Atlantic ocean, in the area known as the Bermuda Triangle, where many pilots have reported being ‘caught’ in electric storms and vortices, where their instruments malfunction, and they appear to ‘lose’ time.

The key, Pares says, is to time the test flights with known solar flare discharges and hope that they are able to break through the atmosphere and ‘super charge’ the columns of storm clouds. Pares believes that if we can learn more about this phenomena, and perhaps harness this immense energy, then it will forever revolutionize how we travel, on this planet, and to others.
